The event attracted a diverse audience consisting mainly of experts and researchers active in the interethnic field and engaged in research. The moderator for the event was Associate Professor of the Department and project manager, PhD Otar Elmira Sakenkyzy. In her speech Otar Elmira presented the goals, objectives and distinctive features of the research project, highlighting its significance and relevance to the academic community
The keynote speakers at the round table discussion were distinguished participants of the project, holding the highest academic titles and degrees. German Nikolaevich Kim, a Doctor of Historical Sciences and Professor, Director of the Institute of Asian Studies of KazNU named after al-Farabi, presented the topic of «Cross-cultural analysis of the maternal role in the socialization and formation of children's identity». Sadvokassova Aigul Kakimbekovna, a Doctor in Sociological Sciences and Deputy Director of the Institute of Applied Ethnopolitical Researchat the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, discussed the topic of «Reflection of civil and ethnic identity in women's daily life on the example of Uzbek women». Nakipbaeva Zhanar Abduakanovna, a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Sociology Department of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, also presented the topic of «Identity and everyday life of Turkish women of Turkestan region and Shymkent city» and shared her insights and challenges she had encountered during fieldwork.
The invited speaker at the event was Tyngysheva Nazgul, a Master's student at the Faculty of Sociology. She presented her research on the topic «The role of Kurdish women in Kazakhstan in the formation of identity».
During the roundtable, experts and scholars from various regions of the country discussed the methodology and findings of the research, as well as conducted a comparative analysis of their respective research papers. They exchanged views on ways to improve their work and received answers to queries regarding the future direction of scientific research in the field.
