Research goal. Study the social differentiation of the Kazakh part of the population
Tasks.
- Identify the main social strata in the social structure of the Kazakh society;
- Study the factors of determining national and civic identity;
- Identify the criteria that separate and unite Kazakh society;
- Study the features of the social and professional orientation of the Kazakh population and identify new professional strata;
- Reveal the trajectory and dynamics of social mobility;
- Determine the political orientations and electoral behavior of Kazakhs;
- Determine the consumer culture of the Kazakh population, taking into account their social differentiation;
- Level of trust in government institutions and assessment of development prospects;
- Develop recommendations on mechanisms and approaches in the formation of an integral social core of a differentiated community.
Sociological research methods
The methods of information collection in this comprehensive study are:
mass survey of the population aged 18 and over, "face-to-face". This method will provide the most objective information about the opinion of the population regarding interethnic relations in the country;
in-depth interviews with local activists, youth, representatives of the intelligentsia, business, management.
Sample size
- The sample size in the mass survey is 6,800 respondents from the study territories of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent and 14 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- The total number of in-depth interviews - 200 respondents from the study territories of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent and 14 regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
