Socio-economic passport of ethnic groups of Kazakhstan

General information.

Administrative-territorial division: RK, 14 regions and 3 cities of republican significance (Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent).

Ethnic division: 11 ethnic groups (Kazakhs, Russians, Uzbeks, Ukrainians, Uighurs, Turks, Azerbaijanis, Dungans, Tajiks, Kurds, Chechens).

Time series: 2016-2019 and the first half of 2020.

Source of information: Bureau of National Statistics ASPR RK (DSA data) and the results of a sociological survey.

Data collection and processing methods.

Statistical indicators are formed on the basis of departmental data and characteristics by applying the methods of grouping and generalization, followed by the presentation of the analysis results in the form of average annual absolute and relative values in the ethnic and regional context.
