On April 5, as part of the “Decade of Science” initiative supported by L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University, the Department of Sociology hosted a round table discussion on the topic of «Women of ethnic communities as channels of reproduction and formation of civil and ethnic identity (on the example of Turkestan region and Shymkent city)». This event, which was held in a bilingual format, showcased the results of a research project supported by a grant from theMinistry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
