April 12, 2024 The XIX International Scientific Conference of Students and Young Scientists «ǴYLYM JÁNE BILIM – 2024» was held at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. A student of the Department of Sociology at L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Tyngisheva Nazgul, took a diploma of the III degree under the guidance of Elmira Otar.

The topic of her research «The role of Kurdish women in Kazakhstan in shaping the identity of the future generation» was recognized as highly relevant and significant for social sciences.

23 students took part in the conference on sociology and social work, where they successfully presented their research in both theoretical and practical fields. The members of the commission were Tagaeva S. B., Mukhambetova K. A., Burakanova G.M. The conference was attended by students of the Eurasian National University, the NJSC «Shakarim University of Semey city», the NJSC «Kazakhstan Institute of Social Development», as well as students from the Institute of Demographic Research (Moscow city).
