A training seminar on interethnic conflict resolution was held in Astana.
On 4–25 November 2025, the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan’s House of Friendship hosted a training seminar titled “Conflicts in Interethnic Groups: Tools for Their Resolution.” The event was organized by the Law Enforcement Academy under the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the APK.

The seminar aimed to enhance the competencies of law enforcement and government officials in preventing interethnic conflicts, as well as to strengthen skills in ethnomediation and crisis communication.

Participants discussed current challenges in the ethnopolitical sphere, features of mass behavior, and response algorithms for situations involving interethnic tension. Lectures and practical sessions were conducted by Acting Director of the Institute for Applied Ethnopolitical Research, Luiza Uzarova, and Academy Professor Ulbosyn Zhanatayeva.

The training seminar served as a platform for exchanging experience and developing recommendations aimed at strengthening interethnic harmony and societal unity.
